El Barrio Raíces Summer Program 2024
El Barrio Raíces Summer Program is a three-week summer program that offers theatre training to children between the ages of 9 and 12. The program is free of charge and open to all residents of NYC. This year’s program will focus on community empowerment and strengthening family traditions, encouraging students to explore their heritage through the performing arts. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about all disciplines of theatre, including acting, dance, make-up, ensemble work, costumes, and sets. Our bilingual team of teaching artists will facilitate all classes.
Domino Effect

Over the course of one evening in Washington Heights, a game of dominoes becomes a bridge between generations. Domino Effect highlights the rich, diverse tapestry of queer immigrant experiences and the universal desire for love and understanding. This world premiere is produced by People’s Theatre Project in collaboration with Boundless Theatre and Latinx Playwrights Circle.
Boundless de Oro
Boundless continues the collaboration with the Fundación Yolanda Laprea in bringing free acting, dance and singing classes to the older adult community. Just like the past two years, this year we will be creating a short film written and directed by Marcelo Rodriguez, where everyone involved, from the artistic team to the behind the camera crew, will be older adults from the City of New York. This program is filmed in Sunnyside, Queens and it’s streamed via YouTube and our social media channels.

Verano Summer
Verano Summer is an intimate concert where singer-songwriter and actress Nancy Millán, accompanied on the guitar by Jomel Rivera, celebrates her favorite season of the year, the summer. The best thing about living in the Caribbean is that it is summer all year round. This concert will take on a trip to the beach, road-trips, and summer romances make us smile. With songs that remind us of the sea, the summer, and lovers, we will celebrate this summer musical romance.In a mix of electric and acoustic sounds with a touch of vocal experimentation, they will perform music by Ella Fitzgerald, Alice Cooper, Ely Guerra, Bobby Capó, Sylvia Rexach, Chet Baker, and many more, as well as original songs.

Boundless Exposed 2025
Boundless Exposed is a workshop and mentoring opportunity for theatre designers of color. During this twelve-week program, participating designers will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced mentors in shaping an installation-style design based on a short play inspired by their research and ideas. The program is open to theatre designers of color in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT).
Chronicle of a Death Foretold
In October of 2024, Boundless Theatre will celebrate our 10th production of Chronicle of a Death Foretold. Our magnificent adaptation of Gabriel García Marquez’s classic novel is being presented as part of our educational performance program in Puerto Rico, which has served more than 55,000 students over the past nine years. As part of the program, teachers leading student groups will receive an educational guide to facilitate classroom discussion of the play.
