Our bilingual team of teaching artists will facilitate all classes.

Viene, Viene el Drag King

Viene, Viene el Drag King is the Spanish-language world premiere of Vico Ortiz’s first solo show, Rise of a King. In this whimsical, burlesque, and gender-bending journey, Vico revisits their childhood through astrology, drag, and storytelling to untether—and reconnect—with themselves in a heartfelt, hilarious, and magical exploration of how they came to rise as a king.

Stand Clear of the Closing Doors

A new play written by Marco Antonio Rodriguez
Conceived and Directed by Mino Lora

When a stalled train traps five strangers from varying backgrounds in a tunnel with no way out and no clear explanation, desperation gives way to confrontation and a series of uproarious events that force them to reckon with one another across their differences. As the sealed car becomes its own fragile society defined by clashing instincts, quiet prejudices, and unexpected
acts of care, power begins to shift in surprising ways. Belonging is negotiated and responsibility tested, revealing who takes up space, who gets overlooked, and who ultimately holds the knowledge needed to move them forward. What they discover in the process, none can quite explain…or ignore.
