Vico Ortiz (Our Flag Means Death, Fionna and Cake) will present the World Premiere in Spanish of their very first Solo Show Viene viene el Drag King as part of the True Color Fest in Puerto Rico in July. In this burlesque piece of the heart, Vico takes us on a whimsical, astrological, gender-bending journey of their childhood using Drag to untether and tether themselves back with a heartfelt, hilarious and magical story of how they came to…Rise as a King. Masterfully directed by Ismanuel Rodriguez, whose eye for detail and imagination elevate the piece in ways that activate and nurture our inner child. Written by Vico Ortiz themselves (with the talented Nikky Levy coaching them through it all), produced by Boundless Theatre Company, Tantai Teatro and BoriQueer Productions.
