Gilberto Gabriel is a Puerto Rican actor, visual artist, and singer/musician based in New York City since 2013. In 2015, he completed a two-year program with Terry Knickerbocker at the William Esper Studio. By 2016, he began performing in theater productions, improvisation shows with Teatro 220, web series, and film. His theater credits include Exquisita Agonía by Nilo Cruz and Filomena Marturano: Un matrimonio a la caribeña at Repertorio Español; ¡GUARACHA! and Aloha Boricua at Pregones/PRTT; and Building My Casa at La MaMa ETC., among others.

In 2018, he co-founded the music duo Gilberto&Diana with Dominican artist Diana Pou, which became TeTxtié in 2020. The duo has released six singles and one EP. In 2021, Gilberto completed NYU’s Music Industry Essentials Online Program while producing TeTxtié’s three most recent singles. He is a LAIR Artist Resident at Loisaida Inc. and co-created the variety show Entre On & OFF with artist Andrés López, featured on Loisaida TV in 2022. His latest musical works include sound design and production for Building My Casa as a resident artist with Teatro 220 at La MaMa ETC, and his solo EP Dongabo, released in March 2025.

Gilberto Gabriel es un actor, artista visual y cantante/músico puertorriqueño radicado en la ciudad de Nueva York desde 2013.
