Janilka Romero is a Puerto Rican actress, director and playwright. She has a BFA in acting from the University of Puerto Rico. Her credits includes: The Foolish Lady (Dean Zayas), The Crucible (Jacqueline Duprey), Yerma (Jorge Rodulfo), When I Was Puerto Rican (Cristina Soler), among others. For the last edition of the FUERZAfest (New York) she directed the play “Mr. Mr. & Dr. Dr.”, play that won best actor, best playwright and best production, winning the festival of 2018. For the past months she has been part of PRTT/Pregones’ production team. Her writing work have been published in magazines as Trasuntos, Caminos Convergentes, Ingenios and Nagari.
