Boundless continues the collaboration with Fundación Yolanda Laprea in bringing free acting, dance and singing classes to the older adult community. This year we produced the short film Cupido trae correspondencia.

Boundless Exposed 2022

Boundless Exposed is a workshop and mentorship program in support of early-career theater designers of color. Working collaboratively with peers and experienced mentors, these designers create and assemble an original installation design, which becomes the basis for a workshop of a short play. By giving emerging designers the opportunity to take the lead, Boundless Exposed fuels creativity, fosters professional skills and provides valuable networking opportunities to the next generation. This year we will be presenting the play Chains: A Monologue for Two Voices, written and directed by Mariana Carreño King.

Mercado libre

by Luis Araúo

A corrupt lawyer and an immigrant prostitute negotiate their services while questioning the manipulation and loss of values in a capitalist society. This is a story of domination, money, power, and sex, a story that develops to an unexpected end. This play premiered in Spain and subsequently had a production in Puerto Rico. Luis Araújo is a very respected Spanish playwright and we are honored to be producing the U.S. premiere of his play. The play will be presented in Spanish with English super-titles.

Chronicle of a Death Foretold By Gabriel García Márquez

This production was postponed because of current COVID-19 regulations in Puerto Rico. The show will be back in San Juan in March 2023. For more information please contact us at info@boundlesstheatre.org.
