Harry Nadal

This is Harry Nadal’s second production with Boundless Theatre Company (The Conduct of Life). Nadal is a costume and set designer with a career spanning more than twenty years. His collaborations with significant directors and choreographers in the industry have shaped and defined him as the designer he is today. In New York his work has been seen in stages such as Brooklyn Academy of Music, Atlantic Theater Co., Lincoln Center Institute, LAByrinth Theater, INTAR, The Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, Pregones Theater, HOME for Contemporary Theater and Arts, Juilliard, HERE Arts Center, Miranda Theater and Ensemble International Theater, among many. Among his recent regional credits is designing costumes for the much praised production of A Raisin in The Sun at Arena Stage (Washington DC) during their 2016/2017 season. He has worked with other regional theaters such as TheaterWorks (Hartford, CT), Boise Contemporary Theater, UrbanArias (Arlington, VA), Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble and Open Stage (Harrisburg, PA) among others. Abroad, his collaborations include Danza Del Alma in Cuba and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, to name a few. In his native Puerto Rico he has designed for such companies as Teatro Del 60, Aleph, and Ballets de San Juan. Also in Puerto Rico he has served as co producer and production designer for the musicals Chicago and Hedwig and The Angry Inch. Each winning best production of the year awards. His work also includes assistant to the curator in the exhibit, Curtain Call: Celebrating a Century of Women Designing for Live Performance at Lincoln Center’s New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. On Broadway he has been Assistant Designer in Paul Simon’s The Capeman and A Class Act. As well as assistant in the original Off-Broadway production of Hedwig and The Angry Inch.
